The 2018 is one of those vintages that produced both an abundance of fruit, and super high quality at the same time. In this case, the Malbec was harvested twice, once for this rose, and for crop-thinning and second for our red programs. Here the saignée process was used as well on the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Franc, and to a lesser extent on the Merlot. Greater concentration on the reds means lots of beautifully balanced and flavorful rosé wine. This turned out to be aromatically spicy, medium-full body, and medium color pink – with bright cherry-berry, rhubarb and herbs, snappy fresh acidity and an unusually long finish.
Only the third year we have made this wine and already it has become one of our most popular. Blended from mostly estate fruit to create this beautiful and approachable Cabernet Sauvignon. We have set a club member price of just $33.33/bottle on this wine making it a great cabernet for everyday drinking.

The 2016 Signature is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon yet includes 8% Petit Verdot, all aged 22 months in new French oak. This saturated purple-hued beauty boasts a deep, medium to full-bodied, concentrated vibe as well as terrific notes of spice black cherries, currants, graphite, cedarwood, and a kiss of chocolate.

“Made up of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, the deep purple-black 2016 Eloge Proprietary Red Wine is provocatively scented of crushed black cherries, red and black currants and kirsch with nuances of Indian spices, cardamom, forest floor, smoked meats and tilled soil. Medium to full-bodied and strutting a lot of poise on the palate, it gives layer upon layer of red and black fruits with loads of earthy sparks and a finely textured finish.”
94 points Robert Parker. Rounded sweet tannins, full bodied on the mouth, ripe rich black fruit, mocha and chocolate with a generous rich finish.

"The 2014 Right Bank Proprietary Red Wine, a blend of 74% Cabernet Franc and 26% Merlot, is a Napa version of a St.-Emilion/Pomerol with its sweet, soft tannins, fleshy, opulent, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, lovely blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit. A hint of chocolate seems to emerge in the flavors as it lingers on your palate. This is a relatively juicy, exuberant and big wine to drink over the next 10-15 years."

"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label is flat-out great. Dark fruit, menthol, tar, licorice, violets and incense are some of the many notes that emerge from this breathtaking Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a dazzling effort from start to finish. Waves of fruit build towards a huge climax of intensity, power and pure sensuality, all backed up by compelling structure. The Black Label is essentially the best barrel at the winery. It’s hard to believe there aren’t more barrels that are closer to this level of quality. Readers who can find the Black Label should not hesitate; it is magnificent. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029."

"The unfined, unfiltered 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve spends two years in French oak and another year in the bottle before being released. This cuvee has a long track record of aging (the 1990 and 1991 are still going strong). The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2006 offers notes of new saddle leather, black currants, autumnal vegetation/forest floor, cassis, and cherries, superb richness, and a full-bodied, powerful finish."

"Eloge is a Bordeaux-styled red composed of approximately two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon, nearly one-third Cabernet Franc, and tiny dollops of Petit Verdot and Merlot. Aromas of soy, tea, damp earth, spicy oak, flowers, black currants, and cherries emerge from the 2003 Eloge. Full-bodied, powerful, complex, and broad, this gorgeous offering is irresistible at present, and should evolve for 15+ years."
