Gustaf opens with rich raspberry and blackberry fruit surrounded by bramble and dried herbs such as thyme and savory baking spices.  This wine is a bit tight and structured at first, but brings loads of power and lots of texture in the upper palate.  A burgeoning richness is just waiting for a little air in the decanter and will age beautifully!

Gustaf spent 20 month in 100% new French oak and was bottled in August of 2019.
