Sarah's Cuvee focuses on the 50 year old, dry farmed, head pruned Semillon with Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of Chardonnay to bring vibrant fruit to the fold.
The 2018 Chardonnay has delicately played fresh grapefruit, Golden Delicious apples and apricot scents with touches of shaved almonds and baker's yeast. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and fresh with just enough crunchy fruit and a zippy finish.

The 2018 is one of those vintages that produced both an abundance of fruit, and super high quality at the same time. In this case, the Malbec was harvested twice, once for this rose, and for crop-thinning and second for our red programs. Here the saignée process was used as well on the Cabernet Franc, and to a lesser extent on the Malbec. Greater concentration on the reds means lots of beautifully balanced and flavorful rosé wine. This turned out to be aromatically spicy, medium-full body, and medium color pink – with bright cherry-berry, rhubarb and herbs, snappy fresh acidity and an unusually long finish.
